Hikers assemble at the administration office at the Windsor Community Development Committee office (Windsor Primary School Old Teacher’s Cottage). At this point all administrative activities to include the collection of the tour gears are carried out and Tour Guides assigned to the group.
Taking people through the community of Windsor starting at the WCDC office for orientation and introduction to the tour guides, guests will be presented with a complementary bottle of water and allowed to use the rest room. Comfortably traversing through the Windsor community, the tour will be approximately two hours. Highlighting unique historical and natural sites and buildings along with the lush flora and various faunas. They will get the opportunity to greet citizens along the path. Lunch can be available for purchase upon request.
A trail that takes you to Kuffi Spring where you will enjoy the invigorating view and feel of the Tenant Field Water Fall. People will be oriented at the WCDC office, then travel by road transportation in a south direction for fifteen minutes to Alligator Church Bridge. Tour Guides will take guests down to a section of the Rio Grande River. Legend has it that a church was built on top of an Alligator, hence the name.
Half an hour ride on a bamboo raft, lunch on the river and a visit the bar on the rack.

The WRGME held an event on April 10, 2022, a one-day river festival to depict the Maroon Culture and tours, the have taken the decision to build on the product and hence develop it as an annual event.
As a part of the Windward Maroon Annual Home Coming, the Windsor Rio Grande Summer Fest and Family Fun Day will be held at the Windsor Community Center and Playing Field
